This workshop provides a space for people to explore their concerns about the crises facing our planet. We will use experiential exercises created by Joanna Macy to connect more deeply with our own feelings and with other people who share similar feelings.

This can help us find a new sense of connectedness to our planet, its species and our fellow human beings, empowering us to each play our part in creating a better future.

About the organiser: 

Anna McIvor has been leading “The Work that Reconnects” workshops for over 10 years. She is currently chair of Transition Cambridge, a local community group helping Cambridge make the Transition to more sustainable ways of living. Anna has a PhD in Ecology and has done research on ecosystem services and coastal flood defence. Note, due to the nature of this session, there is no recording of this event.
