We are delighted to host Pembroke College's sixteenth William Pitt Seminar focussing on the climate crisis, as part of the theme for the Corporate Partnership Programme’s 25th Anniversary year.

About this event

The seminar will be livestreamed from the Quarry Auditorium at Selwyn College, Cambridge.

Chaired by Pembroke College Fellow and Professor of Human Geography Mike Hulme, the 16th William Pitt Seminar will be Introduced by the Master Lord Chris Smith and asks the question – ‘What should come from COP26?’.

 

Confirmed speakers are:

Professor Lavanya Rajamani, University of Oxford.

James Miller, Pembroke College student and climate activist

Dr Lee De-Wit, University of Cambridge

Emma Howard Boyd CBE, Chair of the Environment Agency

The seminar will start with presentations from the speakers followed by a panel discussion based on questions from the audience drawn from the College’s alumni, corporate partners and students as well as government, media, and academic institutions.
